This project was yet another opportunity to hone my technical skills, as one drop of paint on an unintended section of the fence would have been disastrous. With two other jobs at the time, this was a "nights (late - often illuminated by streetlights) and weekends" project. I hand-sketched the letters on the fence before painting, having worked on a few mockups beforehand on both my ipad and my computer. Getting the letters to be properly spaced (by eye, not by measurement) was another (welcome) challenge! These letters represent a hand-made font that I've been working on for a few years now. Hand-painted. No stencils, no ai.
